Adoptable pets from Arizona Humane Society and Maricopa County Animal Care (8/5/20)

Want to save the life of a shelter pet and bring a new best friend into your home? There are hundreds of adoptable cats and dogs awaiting a new home. Here are some of the pets waiting for a forever family at Maricopa County Animal Care and Control and Arizona Humane Society.

There are some changes to shelter adoption and foster programs. Please be sure to check the AHS and MCACC websites for the latest on their adoption protocols during the coronavirus pandemic.

Kat.jpeg With incredibly piercing orange eyes, Kat is a beautiful and unique six-month-old domestic short hair kitty whose origin story is unfortunately not that unique. Kat is one of several pets who were left abandoned in an apartment when their previous owner moved and left them behind. Luckily, a good Samaritan alerted the Arizona Humane Society to this and this sweet girl and her litter mates were rescued and treated in the shelter’s animal trauma hospital for severe upper respiratory infections. Now that she is all better, Kat is hoping to find her forever home where she can show off her fun personality, in addition to her stunning looks.
