PHOENIX — Thousands of APS customers were left in the dark Sunday morning after a power outage.
According to an outage map on APS.com the areas impacted were between Indian School and McDowell roads on boths sides of Interstate-17. There were reportedly eight main outages in the area.
At about 8:00 a.m. more than 7,000 customers were without power. The lights were back on for everyone at about 9:30 a.m.
An APS representative says the outage was due to an interruption at the Encanto Substation.
