A child has passed away following a medical incident last month at a school in Phoenix.
According to Tutor Time officials, on October 23, there was a medical situation involving a child at a school near 7th Street and Bell Road.
Officials say staff members provided medical assistance on site until first responders arrived and took the child to a local hospital.
On November 6, school officials confirmed that the child had passed away.
Tutor Time administrators released the following statement:
No words can express our sorrow. Our thoughts are with the family and we grieve with them. We're working in close partnership with the relevant state and local agencies as they conduct their review.
