A Mesa man has changed his plea related to charges that he inappropriately touched a young girl and recorded and saved multiple photos and videos to his cellphone.
Daniel Boyd Divit pleaded no contest Friday in Maricopa County Superior Court to sexual conduct with a minor and attempted molestation of a child.
Divit was arrested in August 2015 on suspicion of 31 counts of sexual exploitation and sexual conduct with a minor.
According to court documents, Divit watched the 2 1/2-year-old girl on Saturdays while her mother was at work.
The mother reportedly found multiple videos and pictures on Divit's cellphone that dated back a month.
He is scheduled to be sentenced Oct. 19.
