Traveling in or out of Phoenix Sky Harbor in October? You might experience some delays.
Sky Harbor officials announced that they will close the north runway from Thursday, October 6 to Sunday, November 6.
The runway will be closed for a month for construction projects involving APS power lines.
Officials said travelers could experience arrival and departure delays of up to 30 minutes during peak travel times.
Residents living directly east and west of the airport’s center and south runways may also notice increased activity on certain flight paths during the closure.
