PHOENIX — A man has been arrested following a deadly rollover crash on the westbound I-10/I-17 stack early Sunday morning.
According to The Department of Public Safety, a single car with three people inside rolled over and struck a palm tree.
Officials say two people were ejected from the vehicle. The rear seat passenger, Marcellos Matthews, 21, was pronounced dead at the scene. Another passenger suffered minor injuries.
Investigators believe impairment was a factor in the crash.
The driver, Marquese Matthews, 23, was booked into jail for first-degree murder, aggravated assault and endangerment.
