Officials are investigating after one person died in a crash on the Loop 202 on Tuesday night.
The crash happened just before 6:00 p.m. on the Loop 202 at the Mini Stack.
According to DPS officials, five cars were involved in the crash and two people were taken to the hospital with injuries.
Trooper Kameron Lee said a pickup truck, driving westbound in the HOV lane, rear-ended an SUV causing a chain reaction crash with three other cars. The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital with very serious injuries, Lee said.
Another passenger in the SUV with minor injuries was also taken to the hospital.
