Rain around the Valley and state has canceled some weekend events and created problems on roadways.
EVENT UPDATES:
OdySea in the Desert: This weekend's free outdoor events including the Free Artisan Festival and Free Movies in the Desert: Monsters, Inc. Those events have been rescheduled for Saturday, October 27.
Tolmachoff Farms: The Glendale farm wrote Saturday on Facebook that the farm and its haunted corn maze were closed because of the rain.
"Electric Desert" at Desert Botanical Garden: Because of the weather, the Desert Botanical Garden will not be open for "Electric Desert", according to a Facebook post. You can call 480-941-1225 to reschedule or receive a refund.
Ultimate Margarita Beach Party: The Jimmy Buffet pre-concert party has moved indoors to Chico Malo at CityScape in downtown Phoenix. The event began at noon and is free to attend.
Fear Farm and Haunted Hayride: Both Fear Farm and Haunted Hayride will be closed Saturday, Oct. 13 because of the rain, according to a Facebook post. Those with questions or who purchased tickets for tonight have been asked to email info@fearfarm.com.
Bowman Hitting Challenge: The Arizona Fall League has canceled the Bowman Hitting Challenge Saturday evening at Sloan Park because of the rain.
BAM! Fest: The event at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park has canceled its festival, according to a Facebook post. It may be rescheduled. Updates would be posted to their Facebook page.
Arizona Taco Festival: The event is rain or shine at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick. Tickets are still available.
Tempe Oktoberfest: The weekend festival is also rain or shine. VIP tents have been opened to everyone to stay dry.
Arizona State Fair: In a tweet, the Arizona State Fair announced for the first time in recent memory, the fair has closed due to weather. The fair will reopen on Sunday.
Rain canceled Tempe's showing of Ratatouille on Friday night as well. Their next event is Friday, October 19.
