A fire did 'extensive damage' to a home near Sky Harbor International Airport Saturday night.
Firefighters responded just before 9 p.m. to a home near 16th Street and University Drive.
Crews were able to extinguish the flames, but not before much of the single-story house was charred.
During the fire, power lines in the back of the house fell down, creating an electrocution hazard, firefighters said.
The homeowner was not there at the time, and fire officials said no injuries were reported.
An investigator will work to determine how the fire started.
