Driver wanted in deadly pedestrian crash near 7th Ave and Camelback in Phoenix

PHOENIX — The Phoenix Police Department says one pedestrian has been killed and three others have been hospitalized after being hit by a a vehicle near 7th Avenue and Camelback Road in Phoenix.

Firefighters say the incident happened around 2:30 a.m. Friday.

The pedestrian hit and killed has been identified as 25-year-old Khadijha Taylor.

One of the other three pedestrians remains in critical condition. The other two are stable but have serious injuries.

Police say the driver involved fled the scene in a silver Mazda 6 vehicle and hasn't been seen since.

The car, however, was found abandoned nearby with a temporary tag.
