Two local agencies are looking to adopt out hundreds of animals for free this weekend, and the Bissell Pet Foundation is to thank for that!
The Arizona Humane Society says there are 750 animals being cared for at their facility and another 600 are in Foster Hero homes. They're hoping to make room for more animals in need.

On Friday and Saturday, two separate free adoption events are going on: Free Feline Adoption Special on Friday, and Bissell Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelters Adoption Event on Saturday.
If you're looking to add a feline to your family, cats and kittens will have waived adoption fees on Friday.
On Saturday, adoption fees for ALL pets will be waived, including puppies and dogs.
All five AHS locations will be participating in the free adoption events. All pets are spayed or neutered, have current vaccinations, and come with a free follow-up veterinary visit, plus a bag of food.

But wait animal lovers, there's more!
Maricopa County Animal Care and Control is having a free adoption day on Saturday, too.
Their deal covers cats and dogs older than six months, and all adoptable pets will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, licensed, and microchipped.
MCACC is extending their hours at both shelter locations from 11am-7pm to help adopt out as many furry friends as possible.
