On Monday morning, the Girl Scouts of Arizona and Shamrock Farms came together to donate cookies and milk to St. Vincent De Paul. It was all in an effort to help feed the hungry throughout the Valley.
All together the Girl Scouts dropped off 5,000 boxes of various cookies and Shamrock Farms matched that donation with 5,000 cartons of milk to go along with the cookies.
The cookies and milk will be served in the family dining room at St. Vincent De Paul, as well as distributed to their other meal programs throughout Maricopa County.
The Girl Scouts of Arizona also donated an additional 5,000 cookies to United Food Bank in Mesa.
This is the 16th year that the Girl Scouts and Shamrock Farms have teamed up to donate cookies and milk to St. Vincent De Paul.
