1/5/2021 UPDATE: Great news! According to the Arizona Humane Society Cindy and Sue were adopted together Tuesday afternoon.

Two "golden girls" are looking for the perfect forever home to spend their golden years together.
Arizona Humane Society says Cindy and Sue, a pair of 8-year-old Labrador Retriever mixes, were surrendered in December after their owner became ill and could no longer care for them.
The pups spent a short time getting some minor work done at the AHS animal clinic, and they're now up for adoption.
Cindy and Sue are said to be shy at first, but quickly warm up to their humans, and are extremely loving and sweet. They've lived with a cat and young kids before, and would do best in a home where they can get good exercise and a healthy diet.
They have been together since birth and will need to be adopted together. AHS is offering a two-for-one adoption special to help them get adopted as a pair.
You can meet them by scheduling an appointment at azhumane.org/adopt.
If you need help with resources for your pet, you can call the AHS Pet Resource Center at 602-997-7585 ext. 3800.
