Nearly four years to the day after their family member was killed, relatives of Joann Lopez asked for tips to help solve the case of her death.
On July 3, 2012, police said the 32-year-old Lopez was shot and killed near 27th Avenue and Washington.
Investigators found her body inside the cab of a pickup, but in the years since have been unable to find her killer.
"There's something that has to be done," said Nancy Canaz, Lopez's sister. "We wish that we could find who did this to her, just so we can have peace in our family."
The family planned to hold a vigil Sunday to mark the four-year anniversary of Lopez's death.
