PHOENIX — Police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead late Thursday night in Phoenix.
Officers were called to the area of 66th Drive and Taylor Street where a man was found with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital where he died from his injuries.
He has been identified by police as 28-year-old Eduardo Uzueta.
During an investigation, police learned the shooting took place near 62nd Avenue and Roosevelt Street.
Detectives believe Uzueta was involved in a fight with several men during which a shooting occurred.
Both scenes are under investigation and what led up to the fight and shooting has not yet been revealed.
No arrests have been announced.
