PHOENIX — Police are investigating after a train hit and killed a man in Phoenix early Thursday morning.
The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. near 24th and Jefferson streets.
When officers arrived, they found a 47-year-old man with serious injuries. Despite life-saving measures done by first responders, the victim died at the scene.
What led to the crash is under investigation.
