PHOENIX — A 29-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot by his father over an argument about a dog.
Phoenix police say 66-year-old Carl Myrick shot his son after the son allegedly kicked the father’s dog.
The incident happened Monday around 5:45 a.m. at a home near 35th Avenue and Camelback Road.
The son was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Myrick has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault and discharging a firearm within city limits.
