PHOENIX — Police are investigating a deadly hit-and-run crash in Phoenix.
Officers were called to the area of Interstate 17 and 19th Avenue around 12:45 a.m. Wednesday for a crash involving a pedestrian.
The victim, 31-year-old Victor Samuel Sarinana, was found in the roadway by a passerby who called 911. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Evidence indicates Sarinana was hit by a semi tractor-trailer or a tandem-wheeled vehicle.
Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact police or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
