PHOENIX — Phoenix police are investigating after a man was shot and killed during an unknown incident early Monday morning.
Officers responded to the area of 27th Avenue and Bethany Home Road around 1:40 a.m. after a caller reported being involved in a shooting.
Police located a 33-year-old man who had been shot in his vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The caller was detained at the scene and detectives are working to learn more about what occurred.
No further information has been released.
