PHOENIX — A man was seriously injured after being shot near 27th Avenue and Indian School Road Tuesday morning.
Phoenix police said officers responded to a call of a shooting, where they found a man with a gunshot wound.
Preliminary information suggests the man was shot by an unknown male who fled the scene, according to authorities.
The man was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
An investigation remains ongoing and authorities are trying to determine what caused the shooting.
