Officials released a statement Tuesday morning outlining who will be involved in the investigation into Paul Petersen's duties as Maricopa County Assessor.
A vote took place with the County Board of Supervisors on November 13, which approved the investigation into how Petersen handled his duties as the county's assessor.

The county has enlisted the firm of Mitchell, Stein, Carey, and Chapman to conduct the investigation, while Cosmich, Simmons & Brown, PLLC will review the documents involved.
Additionally, Grant Woods is expected to provide oversight to the investigation, along with updates to the county attorney.
A public hearing, in which Paul Petersen will face off with the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, is scheduled for December 11.
