Authorities say several firearms have been found at a home during an unspecified investigation.
Detective Doug Matteson says law enforcement went to a home near 31st Avenue and McDowell Monday afternoon to question someone about an ongoing case.
"When they knocked, there was no lock or even a door handle that could shut the door," Matteson said. "When they happened to look in the residence they saw multiple weapons in plain view and thought they heard footsteps toward the attic."
That noise led those on the scene to call the sheriff's office's special weapons and tactics team.
The SWAT team entered the house, but no one was inside, Matteson said.
No further information about the case was provided.
