May 4: Empty the Shelters with discount pet adoptions

PHOENIX — The Bissell Pet Foundation is partnering with animal shelters across the country to help "Empty the Shelters" this weekend, including right here in the Valley.

You can get discounted adoption rates on Saturday, May 4, at Arizona Humane Society, Maricopa County Animal Care and Control, and Arizona Animal Welfare League.

You pay just $25 and Bissell will pick up the rest of the adoption fee!

Arizona Animal Welfare League

AAWL is offering $25 adoptions from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at their location near 40th and Washington streets. All adoptions include microchipping, vaccinations and spay/neuter surgery.

Arizona Humane Society

AHS is offering $25 adoptions on all animals, including puppies and kittens, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at all AHS locations.

All pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped and current on all vaccinations. You’ll also receive a bag of Hill’s Science Diet food and a free follow-up veterinary exam with VCA Animal Hospitals.
