Meghan McCain, the daughter of the late Arizona Sen. John McCain and co-host of ABC's The View, tweeted a tribute to her father on Election Day.
"My first Election Day of my life without you - miss you so much today Dad," McCain said in her tweet. "Thank you for always involving me in our amazing American political process and bringing me everywhere you went."

In the same tweet, she shared a black-and-white photo of her father at an unknown polling location apparently holding Meghan McCain, who was reportedly 15 days old at the time.
"November 6, 1984 - my Dad showing me off when I’m 15 days old at the polls," she wrote.
John McCain died on Aug. 25 after a year-long battle with an aggressive form of brain cancer. He was 81.
In September, former Arizona Sen. Jon Kyl was selected to fill McCain's seat for the remainder of the second Congressional session.
