A motorcyclist is dead after colliding with an SUV in Central Phoenix late Sunday night.
The incident happened around 10 p.m. on Sunday in the area of 15th Avenue and Bethany Home Road.
Phoenix police said an SUV driver was attempting to make a right turn into the library when the motorcyclist tried to pass the vehicle on the right and the two vehicles collided.
Officials said the SUV did a complete roll, landing back on all four tires. The driver of the SUV was said to be uninjured. The motorcyclist was killed in the collision.
The victim is only described at this time as a Hispanic man in his thirties. He was not wearing a helmet during the crash.
The collision is under investigation; however, impairment is not believed to have been a factor.
