PHOENIX — Phoenix police say a motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a dump truck on Wednesday morning.
The crash occurred near 48th Avenue and Broadway Road.
Police say, according to witnesses, that a motorcyclist was seen traveling at a high rate of speed, passing a minivan. After that, the motorcyclist reportedly struck a dump truck.
Officials pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.
The area will be shut down for several hours for the investigation.
