Westbound Loop 202 in Phoenix reopens after ten vehicle crash

Westbound Loop 202 in Phoenix has reopened after a ten vehicle crash Friday morning. 

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the crash happened just before 8:50 a.m. near 24th Street. 

A commercial vehicle was reportedly unable to stop, hitting cars that were already stopped during normal rush-hour traffic. A total of ten vehicles were involved and blocked all lanes of traffic. 

Three people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
