PHOENIX — A new apartment tower has opened in downtown Phoenix.
The Stewart, an $80 million multifamily project at Central Avenue and McKinley Street, celebrates its grand opening May 22 after years of being in the works.
The 19-story high-rise sits on the site of the former Circles Records store, which shuttered in 2010.
While the apartment portion of the project is now open, the retail section remains under construction. Breakfast chain Snooze, an A.M. Eatery, will open a location on the ground floor of the Stewart.
Jim Poulin, photo editor with the Phoenix Business Journal, recently took a tour of the Stewart ahead of the official opening. See more photos of the apartment tower from the Phoenix Business Journal.
