PHOENIX — Phoenix police are investigating a crash that left one person dead and three others injured Thursday night.
Emergency crews were called to the area of 26th Street and McDowell Road around 9 p.m. after two vehicles crashed.
The driver of one vehicle, 50-year-old Tori Rivero, was pronounced dead at the scene. Three others in the second car were taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, police say.
Police said Rivero was traveling at a high rate of speed and crossed into oncoming traffic, hitting the other car.
