Phoenix Police say a teenage girl who was struck in an accidental shooting on Wednesday has died from her injuries.
The accidental shooting occurred yesterday just before 6 p.m. in the area of 19th Avenue and Buckeye Road.
According to Phoenix police, a 19-year-old girl suffered a gunshot wound while inside of a vehicle. She was transported to the hospital in extremely critical condition and did not survive her injuries.
Police say initial information indicates this shooting was accidental.
No further information was immediately available. The investigation is ongoing.
