Thousands of APS and SRP customers who lost power around the Valley due to weather Thursday afternoon have had their power restored.
As of early Friday afternoon, around 600 APS customers were still without power, down from about 2,800 at 11 p.m. Thursday.
Check the APS outage map to see if your area is affected.
According to the SRP outage map, almost all power outages have been resolved. SRP officials have indicated that storm activity was responsible for the outages.
The City of Goodyear opened Estrella Foothills High School as a center for residents affected by the power outage. Red Cross will be on site to assist and stock the facility.
