Police are investigating a deadly crash in Phoenix.
According to police, the crash occurred at 27th Avenue and McDowell Road on Tuesday morning.
Phoenix police said the dark colored sedan was traveling northbound on 27th Avenue when it ran a red light. The car clipped another vehicle before colliding with a red truck.
The sedan split into two pieces during the impact of the crash.
Bystanders waiting at the bus stop tried to put the fire out in the red truck.
The driver of the dark colored sedan died at the scene. No other injuries have been reported during the crash.
The area is expected to be shut down for some time while officials work the scene.
