PHOENIX — Phoenix police are investigating a double shooting that left a man dead overnight.
Police were called to a home near 16th Street and Roeser Road around 10:20 p.m. Monday in response to a shooting. When they arrived at the scene, they located two shooting victims in the driveway.
Kenneth Hendricks, 53, and his 43-year-old wife were identified as the victims.
Hendricks reportedly died from his wounds, while his wife's injuries are not life threatening.
Police say both were involved in an altercation with two individuals when they were shot. The suspects fled the scene and have yet to be located.
The suspects are described as a black man in his early 30s and a Hispanic man of the same age. Both were wearing dark clothing at the time.
