PHOENIX — Police are looking for a suspect who shot into a west Phoenix store killing a man and injuring a woman.
On Friday night, officers were called to the scene near 83rd Avenue and Indian School.
When police arrived on scene they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to Phoenix Police Sgt. Mercedes Fortune.
The woman reported that as she was leaving the Family Dollar store a suspect fired shots into the store.
Once inside, officers located an additional victim, identified as 38-year-old Jorge Trigueros, with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
An arrest hasn't been made. Police are looking for a silver sedan.
