Officials say a man was shot in the face late Tuesday night in central Phoenix.
The shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday at an apartment complex in the area of 8th Street and Bethany Home Road.
The victim was taken to the hospital. The severity of his injuries is unknown at the time.
Police believe the victim and the suspect knew each other.
