PHOENIX — A man is in serious condition after a shooting near 48th Street and Broadway Road on Monday night.
Phoenix police responded to the scene around 8 p.m. after reports of shots fired. At the scene, a man was found with gunshot wounds.
Officers rendered aid until fire officials responded and took the man to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police say a nearby building was struck by gunfire, but no other injuries were reported.
No suspect information is available.
