The Phoenix Police Department spokeswoman is calling the deaths of a married couple in their residence a homicide-suicide.
Detective Marianne Ramirez says officers checking on the welfare of 77-year-old Rebecca Babson and 77-year-old Sanford Babson on Thursday found them dead of gunshot wounds.
The residence is near North 24th Street and East Camelback Road.
