A convicted felon trespassing and carrying a samurai sword was arrested in Phoenix on December 18th.
Police received a call saying there was a man trespassing in the area of 29th Avenue and Indian School Road and carrying a sword.
Police arrived around 9 a.m. and contacted 29-year-old Pierre Dessens. When they patted him down, they found a samurai sword nearly 3 feet long in a sheath stuffed in the back of his pants.
A records check revealed to police that Dessens had multiple felony convictions and is not allowed to possess any type of weapons.
