Phoenix Chamber names 2019 Impact Award winners

PHOENIX — Fry's Food Stores and University of Advanced Technology are this year's Impact Award winners selected by the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce.

The 32nd Impact Awards were handed out at a luncheon May 23 at the Sheraton Grand Phoenix.

Fry's Food Stores, which is a subsidiary of Cincinnati-based The Kroger Co., was named the Large Business of the Year, while the University of Advancing Technology won the Small/Medium Business of the Year honor.

Both were chosen from a pool of eight finalists for their accomplishments and influence they have on the local community and economy.
