The Phoenix City Council has voted Wednesday afternoon to approve liquor licenses for Starbucks locations.
Earlier this year, Starbucks announced they were going to begin serving alcohol which included 11 locations around the Valley. Starbucks has since requested the necessary Series 12 liquor licenses.

The council voted to approve licenses for the following locations:
- 1648 E. Camelback Road
- 650 E. Osborn Road
- 2802 E. Indian School Road
- 455 N. 3rd Street Suite 100
The vote goes against police recommendation.
Tempe and Scottsdale has already approved liquor licenses for multiple Starbucks locations.
At Wednesday's meeting, city council members also debated a drone ordinance, and a vote has been scheduled for a January 20th hearing.
