Fire crews extinguished a fire at a recycling plant near the airport on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Phoenix Fire Department, a fire erupted at the International Paper Recycling Plant just off of 30th Street and Air Lane around 5 p.m.

Air 15 videos showed both dark and white smoke along with flames at the plant. About 50 firefighters responded to the fire.
Fire officials said crews were breaking up the paper piles with front loaders and are also putting out hot spots.
