Phoenix Fire rescue crews assisted a 60-year-old hiker off Camelback Mountain Saturday evening.
Officials said the woman fell and injured her forearm on the Echo Canyon Trail shortly after 5 p.m.
Due to her condition, the hiker had to be airlifted by a helicopter off the mountain, fire officials said.
This is the third mountain rescue that the Phoenix Fire Department has responded to Saturday afternoon. No serious injuries were reported in the other two incidents.
