Fire officials were called to Piestewa Peak Wednesday morning in response to an injured hiker.
According to a spokesperson for Phoenix Fire Department, a 69-year-old male was hiking when he became unable to walk. Crews used a Big Wheel to help the man down the mountain.
He then declined to go to the hospital.
