Phoenix police have identified a man shot and killed on January 6, 2016 as 27-year-old John Richey.
Police say Richey and the suspect were involved in an argument at around 9:45 p.m. near Tuckey Lane and 17th Street.
During the argument both Richey and the suspect began shooting at one another.
Richey was shot and was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The suspect was also believed to be shot, and left the scene.
The suspect is described as a black male, around 34-years-old, 5’9”, around 220 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and a goatee.
