PHOENIX — Another Phoenix police officer has been fired from the force.
A department spokesperson confirmed Officer Marcos Rodriguez was terminated on October 16.
Phoenix police will not comment further on the reason for his termination; however, the City of Phoenix recently settled a lawsuit, which claimed Rodriguez engaged in sexual misconduct on duty. The Phoenix City Council approved a $125,000 payment in October to a woman who said the officer stalked her, held her at gunpoint, and sexually harassed her.
Rodriguez is one of at least four officers fired in October for separate incidents.
Officer Christopher Meyer was terminated for a high-profile excessive force case. Detective Clinton David Swick was terminated for inappropriate social media posts and is appealing the ruling.
Sergeant Daniel "Beau" Jones was fired as he faces an undisclosed criminal investigation.
