The Phoenix Police Department have identified body parts that were found in September.
Police say they responded to a yard near 25th Avenue and Broadway Road on September 21 where they discovered a hand and femuron the property.
A week later, on September 30, police discovered human remains just one block from the original scene.
Police have identified the hand, femur, and remains belong to 45-year-old Jason Collins.
The Maricopa Medical Examiner’s Officer have not determined the cause of death.
The investigation is ongoing and officials have asked anyone with information to contact the Phoenix Police Department.
