The Phoenix Police Department shut down the area of 44th Street and McDowell Road Wednesday night after a deadly hit-and-run crash.
Police said a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, and that they closed 44th Street for several hours from McDowell Road to Palm Lane. for several hours.
Information about the victim and the suspect were not immediately available.
