Phoenix police are asking for the public's help in locating the car and driver involved in a deadly pedestrian collision from Thursday night.
Police say just after 8 p.m., witnesses saw a 55-year-old man standing in the two-way left turn lane on Thomas Road near 32nd Street when a dark-colored SUV struck him.
The SUV traveled east on Thomas Road without stopping, police say.
The victim was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
