Phoenix police are searching for a man who shot a woman Monday near Black Canyon Highway and McDowell Road, officials said.
The 27-year-old victim walked into the office of a nearby motel with a gunshot wound shortly after 6 a.m. and asked for help, police said. She is in serious but stable condition.
Investigators released surveillance video that shows the suspect in the hopes that someone will recognize him and call police.
