Police say 45-year-old Crystal Brown is dead after a shooting in Phoenix on Thursday night.
Crews responded to the area of 7th Street and Buckeye Road around 8 p.m. where witnesses say Brown was found shot after a confrontation with a group of men.
Brown was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Witnesses at the scene directed officers to an area near 15th Avenue and Jefferson Street where the original incident occurred and officers found the shooting evidence.
